2010 ESF Coaches' Clinic, Abrantes (POR): 30 Oct - Nov 1

The Portuguese Baseball and Softball Federation is hosting on the City of Abrantes (Portugal), the first Softball Coaches Clinic – Level 1, under the new National Legislation for Coaches Career. This clinic was possible with the direct cooperation of the European Softball Federation and the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior - Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (Portugal). It will allow the Portuguese Softball coaches to get the National Licence for Coaching.

   
From 30 of October until 1 of November, coaches from all over the country will be attending to the first part of the clinic (24h of classes in total), were the ESF Coaches Argenis Blanco (professional Venezuelan Coach now working on the Italian League) and André Prins (Dutch former Softball Coach and now o the “Hall of Fame” of ISF) will be responsible for Technical Softball Chapters of the Clinic, according with ESF Development Commission.
 
The second part of the Clinic will be given on the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior - Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, and it will be under Professor Pedro Sequeira, President of Coaches Department of the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior. Here will be given the Chapters of Pedagogic of Sport, Didactic of  Sport, Observation and Analyse of  Sport habits for Softball.
