Last week the most important European tournament took place in Valencia (Spain) with 10 national teams competing at a high level. This year's EChWA has also been the qualifier for next year's ISF XII Women's World Championship to be played in USA.

The three teams that have qualified for the ISF event are: The Netherlands, Great Britain and Czech Republic.

Promotion and Relegation
According to the ESF Competitions Regulations promotion and relegation between divisions A and B of Championship Women Fastpitch occur as follows: "If fourteen teams or more are ranked: the two last ranked teams of Division A are relegated to Division B and the two first ranked teams of Division B are promoted to Division A..." (CR. 09.02.01.01.02)

Thus, France and Slovakia are relegated to Division B and Belgium and Sweden are promoted to Division A.
