Candidature for Organizing a Competition - DEADLINE: Nov. 6th, 2009
The two NEW forms needed to submit the Candidature for Organizing an ESF Competition have been released and published at the section
- Candidature for Organizer Form (it includes an Appendix with new procedures for Advertising, Merchandising and Broadcasting)
- Pre-Inspection Form
The forms shall be filled out typewriting ONLY (handwriting is nomore accepted).
They shall be received by the Secretary General of the ESF by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th, 2009 at the latest, preferebly by e-mail (secretarygeneral @ europeansoftball.org), or by fax (New nr.: +43.5577.89900.448).

COMPETITIONS REGULATIONS
24. 01. 01. The Federation or Club that wishes to host a European Competition shall present its candidature to the ESF Headquarters, together with a payment of a bona fide deposit of 20 per cent of the guarantee sum specified for organizing this Competition at least 90 days prior to the date of the Annual General Congress which shall decide of the appointment of Organizers. The Competition should have two fields, except for Minime and Cadets Competitions where, depending on the expected number of teams that will enter the competition, candidatures with only one field may be accepted. In case of having only one field it should be provided with artificial light.
24.01.02. The Candidature must clearly propose a date (for Championships only) and the exact location where the competition will take place if appointed so in case of a vote among various bids to host a competition, Delegates can choose not only the country but also the city and date (for Championships only).
24.02.01. Should there be more than one candidate to host a European Competition, then the final choice shall be made by the General Congress of the ESF at its annual meeting.
24.04. Candidatures to host European Competitions must conform to the requirements of the articles of the present Regulations and to the Technical Regulations.
