In this December issue:

The Technical Commission of the ESF is planning two basic clinics for Umpires in 2010: one in May for Fast Pitch to be held in Chocen (Czech Republic) and another one in June for Slow Pitch to be held in Ostend (Belgium).

The Provisional Program of the XXXV General Congress 2010 has been released. It includes changes on the scheduling of committees meetings decided at last Executive Council held at the end of November.

The document with entries for organizing 2010 competitions as well as the provisional calendar 2010 has been updated.

The ISF has made available a document that summarizes the changes made to the ISF playing rules at last month’s XXIV Congress in Venezuela.

New international non-official tournaments have been added to the Calendar of events.

The ESF has not received officially any nominations for organizing the following competitions:

"November 10, 2009: NEW LOGO UNVEILED FOR INTERNATIONAL SOFTBALL FEDERATION

A new identity has begun for the International Softball Federation following today’s launch of a new logo for the sport’s world governing body.

In order to follow the different requests of information, the ESF informs to all member Federations that detailed information regarding hotel and booking to attend such Congress will be sent out as soon as possible.

The ESF and the Turkish Federation are finalizing the details with the local authorities. Thus, the ESF and on behalf of the organizers apologizes for any troubles this may cause to participants.
