On Saturday, the Zurich Barracudas took game 3 of the series against Zurich Challengers to win the Swiss National Championship.

After winning game 1, the Zurich Barracudas took game 3 to become National Champion for the third time in a row. The Zurich Challengers took game 2, temporarily tying the series.

Game 2 made it clear that the Challengers wanted to take the title of Swiss National Champion. They scored 16 runs against the Barracudas, only scoring one. With the Challengers winning the second game, the best-of-3 series between the two teams from Zurich was a tie.

Game 3 was a hard-fought one. The Barracudas took the lead, scoring 3 runs in the first inning, but the Challengers came back and tied the game at the second inning. Despite the 2 runs scored at the fifth inning by the Challengers, the Barracudas managed to win the decisive game of the series by scoring twice in the sixth and 3 times in the seventh.

With an 8-5 win, the Barracudas took the first spot of the Swiss National League and were crowned National Champions.
