On December 26, the European Softball Coaches Association will host an online event with 4 top coaches from all over the world at 19:00 CET.

After Cindy Bristow was announced as the first speaker, let's head on the second coach on our line-up: Coach Kirk Walker.

Coach Walker is the assistant coach at UCLA, 2019 NCAA Champion. Previously, Kirk Walker was the head softball coach at Oregon State from 1995-2012. Earlier, he was a member of the Bruin staff from 1984-94.

In 2017, Walker was an assistant coach on the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team, featuring Bruins Holly Azevedo and Bubba Nickles, gold at the WBSC Junior Women's World Championship. He served the USA Elite Team and the USA Red National Team.

In 2019, Walker was named head coach and assistant general manager of NPF's California Commotion for 2020, before the season got cancelled because of COVID-19.

Coach Walker is also one of the founders of the Equality Coaching Alliance and the LGBT Sports Coalition


ESCA members will have the possibility to interact with Coach Walker, Coach Bristow, and two other top coaches for 90 minutes during the ESCA holiday special panel
