100 days to the return of Softball to the Olympics
In exactly 100 days, softball will be back to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
On July 21, 2021, the Australian National Team will face the Japanese National Team, marking the return of Softball to the summer Olympic Games, after thirteen years of absence. In 2008, Japan won gold in Beijing.

On the same day, the Azzurre will face the USA. The 2021 Olympic Games will mark the third participation of Team Italy in the softball field, after Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004.
