The Czech National Teams dominated the U-16 Men’s Softball European Championship and the U-18 Men’s Softball European Championship.

U-16 Men’s Softball European Championship
In the U-16 Men’s Softball European Championship Game, Czech Republic defeated Israel, 17-0, claiming the second European Title in a row. 

The U-16 Czech National Team scored 8 runs in the first inning and 9 runs in the second inning. Czech pitcher Matyáš ZELINKA took the W, allowing no hits to the Israeli National Team, and striking out 8 of the 11 batters faced.

Team Denmark took the bronze, with one win (against the silver medalist Israel) on the six games played over the Championship.


U-18 Men’s Softball European Championship 

In the U-18 Men’s Softball European Championship Game, Czech Republic defeated Denmark, 7-2, claiming the ninth European Title, the fourth in a row. 

Team Czech took the lead in the first inning scoring once, thanks to a solo home run by Adam BUňATA. Czech scored once more in the third and in the fourth, taking the score to 3-0.

At the top of the fifth, the Danish National Team scored twice, for the 3-2 temporary result. The Czech Republic reacted scoring 3 runs in the fifth, and 1 more run in the sixth.

Czech pitch Matěj MACAS then struck out the three Danish batters to close the game.

Bronze Medal Game 

In the Bronze Medal Game, Israel claimed the W against Croatia, 13-1.
