New President of the Danish Softball Federation

On its annual congress on the 27th of November 2010, a new board was elected for the Danish Softball Federation, which resulted in a new President and Vice President along with one new member. The board now consists of: President: Henriette GilhøjVice President: Michelle CantorTreasurer: Guller EriksenMember: Jens TerkelsenMember: Mette Nissen-JakobsenMember: Maiken JohnMember: Henrik Bartholdy President Henriette Gilhøj (photo on the left) was elected for a 2 year period, and the Vice President for a 1 year period.Bo Orla-Jensen left the board and the position as president, which he has held for 10 years. Bo has contributed with many initiatives and will continue in other committees for the Federation. Both the new president as well as the vice president, have been active in the Federation for many years as players and coaches. They have both played on the national team for extended periods. They rejoined the board last year. Henrik Bartholdy, also a previous national team player, is re-entering the softball community after his children have started playing softball. The board is versatile and ready to work on increasing the number of players and the knowledge of softball in Denmark while securing the position as one of the leaders in Men's Softball in Europe.
