Women's European Championship (XXII)

Tournament of a new format (to be announced at the Congress in February) will take place at ballparks of the Friuli region in Italy. 

Qualifications:
The top three teams will represent Europe at the WBSC Women's World Cup in 2021. 
The winner of the tournament will also secure its spot at the World Games in 2021. 
The best 6 teams will advance to the second edition of the Super 6 event in 2022.

A new playing system will be launched for the 2020 Championship. The top 8 teams from the last edition will enter Super Round directly. The remaining teams were drawn into the following pools. Winners of each pool will then join the top 8 in the Super Round.

The Super Round pools A and B are based on standings of the previous championship. The complete system will be announced soon.
